Most AI study tools need an internet connection and send your documents to a server. DoomStudy can run the AI on your phone instead. Download an offline model once, and your PDFs, slides and notes are turned into flashcards and quizzes locally.
It works on both iPhone and Android. On iPhone with iOS 26 or later, Apple Intelligence is another on-device option.

Download a model
Pick an on-device model such as Llama 3.2, Phi 3.5 or Qwen 2.5 and download it once.
Add your files
Upload PDF, PPTX or DOCX files. Processing happens on your device.
Study anywhere
Scroll your cards on a plane, on the subway or anywhere without signal.
Private by default
DoomStudy has no user accounts. Your courses, generated cards and progress are stored locally on your device. When you use an offline model or Apple Intelligence, your documents never leave your phone.
If you prefer cloud generation, you can switch to Google Gemini. Your text is only sent to Gemini when you choose that option.
Which offline models are supported?
DoomStudy supports downloadable on-device models including Llama 3.2, Phi 3.5 and Qwen 2.5 on iPhone and Android, plus Apple Intelligence on compatible iPhones running iOS 26 or later.
Smaller models generate faster; larger ones write richer cards. You can change model at any time in the settings.
Everything else still works offline
Your feed, quizzes, video backgrounds, tags and progress tracking all work without a connection. Generate cards at home, then study on the go.

Can I use Apple Intelligence to make flashcards?

Yes. On compatible iPhones running iOS 26 or later, DoomStudy can use Apple Intelligence to generate study cards on-device. On other devices, including Android, you can download an offline model instead.
